Today I interviewed the principal of our school, Ms. A. Carpenter. I asked her some questions and here is what she had to say.
Q- How are you liking Waubaushene Elementary so far?
A- I love it. It’s been a lot of fun. I’ve met great people and there are fabulous staff members which makes my job a lot easier.
Q- What do you think about this school so far?
A- Its small but mighty. The programs teachers are running are great. The extra-curricular activities are wonderful. This is a hidden gem of a school & I feel very lucky to be here.
Q- What do you think about the rules which we had before?
A- Some are board expectations which remain the same in every school. As for other rules, I have spoken to teachers and students so we are coming up with rules which meet the needs of our school. Not everyone will like my rules, but they are there for safety reasons.
Q- How do you feel about the students at Waubaushene?
A-The students have been very welcoming; everyone is very polite & respectful. I am looking forward to learning everyone’s name in the next month. The parents should be very proud because this is a great group of kids.
Q- For the last question, are there any upcoming events parents should know about?
A- The school council has two fundraisers, before Christmas. A new initiative for the board is lockdown. Which takes the place of code red, we will be practising this new procedure later in the next month.
Thank-you for your time.
Logan.

This was done very well!!
